Naast de stierennek, begin ik één vd kleuren te pakken te krijgen en dan nu ook het lichte paars aan de andere kant van het gezicht. Daaronder had ik eerst blauw uitgeprobeerd, nog te zien in de nek Haar & Sunshine! Coole kleuren combinaties en het even verder aankleden... Daar is ze dan! <3"Shishani Vranckx"

Een andere uitstraling, een andere huidskleur, een nieuwe uitdaging...
Welke kleuren neem ik voor haar? Wat wordt de hoofdkleur?
Al gauw werd het paars. Net als bij Mike Love heb ik ook bij haar een aantal kleur combinaties gehad in het gezicht van paars/geel, paars/blauw en uiteindelijk is het paars/indigo geworden. Het was een continue proces van bijschaven, focus en afstand nemen.
Shishani herinner ik mij als een persoon die straalt, daarom wilde ik geel in het schilderij verwerken, de complementaire kleur van paars. Zo ontstond het idee een zonnekrans om haar heen te maken en bereikte ik mijn doel om met geel/paars te werken.
