Dit portret was een waar studieproject in het werken in detail en de anatomie van het gezicht.
De verhoudingen en spiergroepen proberen te begrijpen en goed te positioneren. Daarnaast het effect van een foto proberen weer te geven door in detail en contrast te werken.
Tijdens het maken van een foto realistisch portret kom ik in een tunnelvisie, omgeving en geluiden vallen geheel weg, ik word omringd door minuscule details vlak voor mij. Om weer uit deze tunnelvisie te komen en de sociale hersenfuncties weer aan de praat te krijgen... duurt altijd even!
Erg voldoening gevend het moment dat het portret af was en haar weg mocht geven aan Astrid zelf.
